Championing the ADOPT Act: Ethical Family Building brought this critical bill to Congress to protect expectant mothers and adoptive families from exploitation by unlicensed, for-profit intermediaries who operate without oversight.

Advocating for the Adoption Counts Bill: We are pushing for this legislation to mandate the federal collection of non-identifying private adoption data for the first time since 1975. This is essential for creating effective, evidence-based policy.

Driving State-Level Reform: Beyond federal action, we partner with working groups in various states to reform local laws, ensuring protections are strengthened from the ground up.
